Swim Gala - 11th & 12th July

We're hosting a Swimming Gala this weekend. Swimming lessons will run as normal, but the pool will close from 12pm on both days, with no casual swimming or other pool activities available after this time. Please note the centre and car park will be busier than usual, so allow extra time for your visit. Good luck to everyone taking part in the gala!

Vanilla Berry Protein Smoothie Recipe

This delicious Vanilla Berry Protein Smoothie provides a great balance of essential vitamins, healthy fats and protein. The combination of berries, banana, flaxseed, oats and protein powder makes this a tasty drink that is ideal for breakfast, pre or post workout fuel, or as a healthy snack!

INGREDIENTS

1 – 2 Servings

  • 1 tbsp porridge oats
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1 banana
  • 80g berries, fresh or frozen (we used raspberries and blueberries)
  • 150ml apple juice

METHOD

STEP 1
Put all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.

STEP 2
Pour the smoothie into two glasses and enjoy!
