A Fresh Start with a 12-Week Plan
Our free 12-week personalised fitness programme is designed to help you build momentum and see real results. Available to all current Health & Fitness members, the Fitter Faster programme combines structure, support, and flexibility, so you can make progress in a way that suits your lifestyle.
With regular one-to-one appointments, our qualified and motivational coaches will guide you every step of the way. Whether you’re starting fresh or looking to push further, your programme is tailored to your goals, ability and schedule.
Choose Your Path: Five Ways to Train
Not all fitness journeys are the same. That’s why we offer five distinct training pathways, each designed with a clear outcome in mind.
Strong – Build Strength and Confidence
If your goal is to change your body shape and get stronger, this is your route. You’ll learn key lifting techniques, develop strength, and gain confidence using resistance machines, free weights, and plate-loaded equipment.
Lean – Sculpt and Energise
Focused on fat loss and improved body composition, the Lean programme helps increase metabolism while creating a more defined, sculpted look.
Core – Stability and Strength from Within
A strong core supports everything you do. This programme improves stability, reduces back pain, and enhances everyday movement efficiency.
Perform – Train Like an Athlete
Ideal for those looking to boost sports performance, this plan targets speed, agility, recovery, and injury prevention through sport-specific training.
Active – Fitness for Everyday Life
Designed for functional fitness, this programme helps you move better in daily life, whether that’s carrying shopping, gardening, or keeping up with family activities.
Built Around You: Levels and Progression
Every programme is structured across three levels; Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, ensuring you’re always training at the right intensity.

Stage 1: Getting You Going – Build confidence and consistency
Stage 2: Keep Going – Develop strength and endurance
Stage 3: Go Further – Push performance and refine results
Start Strong with a “Get Going” Session
Your first session sets the tone for success. During your “Get Going” Session, you’ll:
- Meet your coach and discuss your goals
- Assess your fitness through our body composition system
- Get a full tour of the facilities
- Learn how to use equipment safely and effectively
- Set up the My MORE app for tracking workouts and progress
This session ensures you start with clarity, confidence, and a plan tailored specifically to you.
Members taking GLP-1 medications
If you’re currently using GLP-1 medications, we offer dedicated GLP-1 “Get Going” sessions. These free one-to-one sessions are designed to help you manage side effects, understand your body, and build a personalised strength and resistance training plan.
Our trained instructors provide expert guidance in a supportive, friendly, and non-judgemental environment.
Why Maintaining Muscle Matters
One important thing to be aware of is that during weight loss, particularly when using GLP-1 medications, up to 40% of the weight lost can come from lean tissue (muscle mass). Without the right approach, this can have an impact on long-term health and how well weight loss is maintained.
Maintaining muscle mass is essential for healthy ageing, supporting your metabolism, strength, and independence. That’s why combining any weight loss journey with strength and resistance training is so important.
Muscle plays a key role in keeping your body functioning at its best. It helps to:
- Support metabolism: Muscle burns more energy than fat, helping to maintain a healthy weight over time.
- Regulate blood sugar: Acting as a “glucose reservoir,” muscle can support better blood sugar control and reduce the risk of conditions like Type 2 Diabetes
- Strengthen bones: Resistance training helps improve bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
- Maintain strength as we age: Preventing age-related muscle loss (known as Sarcopenia) supports mobility, energy levels, and independence later in life.
